The mission of the Brief Bank and Legal Resource Committee is to provide all CCBA members with a depository for case law, legal pleadings and general legal resources relative to the representation of creditor rights and collection law. The mutually creative collaboration of CCBA members to this depository will be to the benefit of members, their clients, the courts and our industry. All members are encouraged to contribute.

The CCBA Continuing Legal Education Committee determines CLE programming. The CLE Committee meets several times a year to plan the educational component of the CCBA. The CCBA strives to plan for monthly, hour long CLEs that are beneficial to members.
The CLE Committee Chair is a member of the CCBA Board of Directors, but any CCBA member is welcome and invited to join the CLE committee if they have interesting in helping to plan educational content.
The committee’s duties are as follows:
To create and foster a mutually beneficial relationship between the CCBA members and the Colorado State Judiciary to assist both with more efficient and consistent processes, communication of issues and to be a point of access to open dialogue for resolutions for the overall benefit of all participants in the judicial system.
Our mission is to promote and foster fair and just legislation on the state and federal level which protects creditor rights attorneys and their clients throughout Colorado. Our committee seeks to promote creditors rights, educate legislators and stakeholders on the current and pending laws, develop coalitions with other industry leaders who share our same goals or concerns, identify creditor issues, and encourage legal reform activities.
Joining the legislative committee is a unique opportunity to share ideas, develop strategies for affecting legislation in a positive way and advance creditors rights through information sharing, education, collaboration, bill review, development of talking points, discussions with stakeholders, and/or testifying at the Capitol. The Legislative Committee will meet as needed during the legislative session.
Our mission is to promote and foster a strong presence of creditor rights attorneys throughout Colorado for the purpose of promoting creditors rights resources, identifying education opportunities concerning various types of creditor issues, and encouraging legal reform activities.
Joining the membership committee is a unique opportunity to strengthen a newly formed bar association in numbers for the purpose of advancing creditors rights through information sharing, education, and reformation of laws.
Our meetings are held once a month along with other members.
